More than 245 Sour-Faced Furballs Who Can't Stand the Sight of You Before there were lolcats, there was Bad Cat. Now, in his first book since his #1 New York Times bestseller, Jim Edgar reveals what cats really think of you: not much. Straight from his website, personal archives, victims' accounts, and anonymous underground sources, My Cat Hates You brings to light a conspiracy against mankind that reaches across the globe. Whether they're going fishing in the family fishbowl (or toilet), attempting to blast off to Mars when you aren't looking, mocking your taste in bed sheets, self-medicating with catnip, or hanging from the rafters ready to pounce, the delinquent cats within these pages can't conceal their contempt for you. Keep this book out of reach of children and especially cats -- they don't need the encouragement. | | | Features: | |

Gotta love these crazy cats!Mar 08, 2009 Jim Edgar does it again! Hilarious pictures of our favorite felines captioned with thoughts that they may very well be thinking! Great book for the mature cat lover who loves their hateful cat!

Funny, but not as good as Bad Cats.Feb 03, 2009 This book is funny but it isn't as good as the original Bad Cats book. My copy of Bad Cats has been looked at so often it is falling apart. Love the book and the calendars. A little disappointed with this book.

This guy cracks me upNov 25, 2008 I read his first book and loved it. The publisher seemed to go off the deep end and rode the "Bad" concept into the ground. To bad for the Author
because he had a really good idea and title only to have to diluted. I still like this book its a good stocking stuffer for all my cat friends. It also makes a handy bathroom book to distract my cat from flushing the toilet.

A Great Gift For All Cat LoversNov 03, 2008 Out of the mold of the Page-A-Day Bad Cat Calendar comes this wonderful paperback book from Jim Edgar. It's crammed with full-color photos of cats behaving badly, with hysterical hand-written captions under each picture. There are about 250 pages, with a cat or cats on each, doing what they do best, conspiring against the whole of humanity.
If you are looking for text, you won't find much in this book. The beauty lies in the lavish photos. In fact, save for the captions, the only text is the page and a half Introduction to the book, written by Jim Edgar, himself, in a rather tongue-in-cheek style. Even that is written in larger than normal print so it becomes a quick read.
Another favorable characteristic of this book is its size, a portable edition easily fit into your coat pocket to be carried anywhere you go. Enjoy cat pics on the bus, train, or even in your car when stopped at a light. Bring it with you to parties to impress your cat-loving friends... A must-have for all adorers of our little feline friends!

Giggles galore in this bookOct 30, 2008 For every cat lover - and hater - there's a brand new book bound to cause lots of giggles. My Cat Hates You is an hysterical look at the world of cats and cat behavior created by somebody who obviously knows cats all too well.
Following up on his 2004 hit Bad Cat, Jim Edgar continues the humorous look at his feline friends with almost 250 pages of annoyed, angry, strange, and downright goofy cats. Above each snapshot is the cat's name, and beneath the photo is a caption that perfectly captures the moment. Spread throughout the book are `Infamous Feline Mug Shots,' with a photo of the convict, his alias, and what he was charged with. There are also several `Disobedience School Yearbook' shots which include the cat's nickname and what he was voted most likely to become.
Although the author admits on his website that he is allergic to cats and doesn't own one (or is not owned by one), it is obvious that he clearly understands the humor surrounding the feline species. There are some really great pictures in this book, including many of some truly fuming mad cats, teeth barred, ears flat back, ready to pounce. Cats with crossed-eyes, strange habits, unusual friends or toys, and bizarre sleeping routines also inhabit the pages of this book.
Whether you love or hate cats, you'll get a chuckle out of this book.
